a deeper approach to healing when talk therapy isn't enough

Brainspotting Therapy

Some experiences don’t live in words - they live in the nervous system.
Brainspotting helps access and release trauma, emotional blocks, and patterns that feel stuck.

If you’ve tried traditional talk therapy and still feel:
- emotionally reactive
- chronically anxious or overwhelmed
- disconnected from your body
- caught in the same cycles despite insight

Brainspotting may be the missing piece.

what is brainspotting?

Brainspotting is a neuroscience-informed therapy that works by identifying specific eye positions - called brainspots - that are directly connected to emotional and physical experiences stored in the brain and body.

By gently holding focus on these points, your brain can process and release material that has been difficult to access through conversation alone.

You don’t need to relive your trauma.
You don’t need to explain everything perfectly.
Your nervous system already knows what to do.

Brainspotting allows it to finish the work.

What Brainspotting Can Help With

Brainspotting is especially effective for:

Trauma (single-incident or complex)

Anxiety, panic, and chronic stress

Performance blocks and perfectionism

Emotional overwhelm and burnout

Relationship patterns that feel automatic

ADHD-related emotional regulation

Feeling “stuck” despite insight

Somatic symptoms connected to stress

How Brainspotting Is Different From Talk Therapy

but now we know how to help!

Talk therapy is valuable but it relies heavily on the thinking brain.

Brainspotting works below conscious thought.

Instead of analyzing your experiences, we:
- tune into your body’s signals
- allow the brain to process naturally
- work with regulation, not pressure
- integrate emotional and physiological healing

This makes it especially helpful for people who:
- overthink
- intellectualize emotions
- feel disconnected from their body
- “know better” but still feel stuck

What a Session Looks Like

1

Sessions are gentle, collaborative, and trauma-informed. You can expect a brief check-in to identify what you want to work on.

2

Locating the brainspot connected to that experience, and then holding focus while your system processes.

3

Debriefing the experience
and providing any grounding/emotional
support after.

You don’t need to have everything figured out.
Curiosity is enough.

Brainspotting may be a good fit if:

- you feel emotionally “stuck”
- talking hasn’t been enough
- your body reacts before your logic
- you want deeper, lasting change
- you’re open to a brain-based approach

is brainspotting right for you?

I work especially well with:

- high-functioning, anxious, or burnt-out individuals
- perfectionists and people-pleasers
- clients who want real tools—not just insight
- people who value depth and practicality

My role is to create a safe, attuned space where your nervous system can do what it’s designed to do: heal.

We integrate Brainspotting with a practical, down-to-earth therapeutic style.

A LITTLE TIP BEFORE STARTING BRAINSPOTTING

We use bilateral music during Brainspotting sessions to help support the nervous system while we work. If you’d like to tailor the experience, you can browse Spotify beforehand and search for EMDR, Brainspotting, or bilateral stimulation playlists to find one that resonates with you and have it ready for your session.
